Many Aura users opted for the "Aura-Illusion Exporter™” (developed by Visual Inspirations Inc. of Tampa, FL) to link these two great programs. This plug-in permitted Aura motion paths to be converted for use in Illusion. Now, the next level in the integration of Aura and illusion is here: Visual Inspirations is pleased to announce the release of Illusion Layer Maker™. ILM serves as a nexus between Aura and Illusion. With it, you can create Illusion animations directly as Aura layers, without ever leaving the program! No files to export, no rendered frame sequences to save and reload -- Illusion layers are immediately composited with your other Aura imagery! When you prefer to work directly in Illusion, ILM can send its’ own particle data and Aura motions straight into the Illusion project. ILM adds an Aura saver to Illusion’s own menus, so even the most complex emitter combinations can be rendered directly into an Aura layer! If you own a Video Toaster, you'll even get immediate WYSIWYG playback of your composition, directly on the Toaster video output.
sends back your finished animation as a new Aura layer!
The possibilities are endless, and we can’t begin to mention them all here. Suffice to say that, if you own Aura and Illusion, ILM is a “must-have.” The Illusion Layer Maker requires Aura2 and Illusion 2.04 or greater.
Below are 3 Extra Emitter Packages for you to use with ILM. These are zip files. We went through all the Emitters libraries and created ILM Projects of the ones we thought looked coolest!
