Editing with Ed

In WorkBench, open a shell window, and type in "ed Toaster:Programs/CG_support/CG-config" (minus the quotes, naturally). This will fire up the Amiga Text editor, and open the file. When you finish the changes, you save it by simply clicking on the close gadget at top, and you'll be prompted at the bottom of the screen with "This file has changed. type "Y" to save and exit". Type Y, and the shell window closes. If you have Directory Opus, there is already a button provided for you. Select CG-Config in the file window, and then click on the Edit button to do the same thing. DOpus alleviates the 'what-did-I-type-wrong' problems when you manually key in a rather long path name.
