Visual Inspirations Announces
New Decision Maker Release

Visual Inspirations, a leading 3rd party developer of applications for NewTek and video, is pleased to announce the latest release of their popular Decision Maker software package for the Amiga.

Decision Maker now supports the Control-L protocol for use with the Sony VX-1000 digital camera as well as any device equipped with LANC input. Decision Maker also has a newly redesigned "Flyer-look" interface to help reduce flicker. When used with the NewTek Flyer, Draco, or the VLAB Motion Board, Decision Maker (DM) allows the user total control over the process of digitizing video by providing complete deck control directly from the Amiga screen. DM also provides powerful batch digitizing capabilities as well as a very handy REDIGITIZE function. This allows users to take an edited and finished project which was digitized at one resolution and redigitize at a higher resolution only that footage which was eventually used in the finished project - a tremendous savings in time. Decision Maker allows Amiga users to create, import, export, and use Edit Decision Lists in both CMX and Grass Valley formats for complete portability to and from dedicated video editing suites. DM also keeps track of multiple source tapes and even provides a Time Lapse Record feature.

Decision Maker requires the NewTek FLyer, Draco, or the VLAB Motion Board. Also required is either the Rosetta Stone serial adapter, V-LAN, AmiLink, or BCD single-frame controllers. Decision Maker also provides direct support for the Sony EVO-9650, Sony Betacam SP UVW 1400, and Sanyo GVR S-950 single-frame VTRs.
